Joe Breeze is probably best known for his pioneering role in mountain biking.
A lifelong Marin resident and bicycling advocate, he has bicycled California’s
highways and byways as a tourist, road racer, mountain biker and commuter.
A bicycle frame builder and designer since 1974, he was instrumental in the
birth of the mountain bike with his “Breezer”
bikes.
